Torrey DeVitto is an actress who advocates for philanthropist producer is most known for her six-season run in the NBC drama Chicago Med as Natalie Manning. She portrayed Natalie Manning, the 'girl close to me', who also worked as a pediatric physician working at the ER Pediatrics Division. Torrey is a philanthropist and producer aside from acting, which is providing accessibility to health, charity and knowledge to as many people possible. Torrey DeVitto was born in Huntington New York, the daughter of Mary & Liberty DeVitto. Since the day she was born, she was constantly surrounded by the world of entertainment. Her father was the drummer for Billy Joel for 28 years and she spent her early years in the midst of traveling along with her family. At the point that Torrey could walk on her own, her hearts were in the musical and acting world. She began her violin lessons at age the age of six, her fourth grade year was the year she became the 4th seat violinist of the New York high school's orchestra. Torrey was recently seen performing with her dad the track "You've Been Through" to SAMHSA in order to increase awareness of addiction to alcohol and other drugs. She serves as an ambassador and spokesperson for NHPCO and a board member of SafeBAE. As a woman's advocate, she sits as a member of the SafeBAE Board. She is also a vocal advocate for reproductive rights and was a speaker at the Planned Parenthood's Bans Off Our Bodies virtual rally attended The Women's Convention in 2022 and also shared her personal story of abortion in an exclusive interview in PEOPLE. Since 2013, she has cycled through vegetarianism and veganism. She also supports animal organizations like PETA The Humane Society of the United States, IMAlive The Humane Society of the United States, and PAWS adoptions in Chicago.
